New knitters and anyone keen to learn machine knitting are most welcome to join us at these workshops.
Pakuranga Baptist Church Lounge, 219 Ti Rakau Drive (entrance from 2 Fremantle Place, Pakuranga).
Come along and learn or enhance your machine knitting skills in the company of others and gain great methods and tips. Your welcome to bring your machine for hands on learning.
All gatherings are held from 9:30 am to 2 pm. Tea & Coffee provided, please bring your lunch along. Door fee is $12 for visitors and $5 for members.

NZMKS Manawatu Knitter’s Retreat
Foxton Beach Camp
Who wants to spend days knitting all those projects that you never seem to get time to do while enjoying company of other like minded knitters. Repeat and do again. It doesn’t get any better than this retreat. Great food 10/10. Great atmosphere.
There is plenty of off street parking and a ramp up to the room for those who can’t manage steps.
10.15am – 2.30pm. Will have a Brother electronic set up, 1 Brother punch card Machine with ribber and a singer machine with ribber. If you would like to bring your own machine that will be fine.
Bring a shared lunch, coffee & tea provided. Cost $10 for members and $15 for guests.
