New Zealand Machine Knitters Society has an annual festival. This is a several day event bringing together members from NZ and overseas for expert tutoring, fashion parades, competitions, trade stalls, tours and the National AGM. There are open times for the public to view the displays and trade stalls.

The 2024 annual festival is being hosted by the National Executive.
When: Events held on Tuesday 21st to Friday 24th May 2024.
Tuesday 21st Seminar & Workshops.
Wednesday 22nd Council Meeting, Workshops & Tour.
Thursday 23rd Workshops & Tours. Display open to the public 10am to 4pm.
Friday 24th Workshop, Tour, AGM & Final dinner. Display open to the public 10am to 12pm.
